Currently, I’m a Product Designer at Paycom, where I work on designing AI-powered tools that make HR, payroll, and employee self-service easy and intuitive for businesses. I’m all about simplifying complex processes and creating solutions that work seamlessly for users. On top of that, I mentor associate designers, collaborate closely with product managers and developers, and help build scalable design systems that bring everything together.

 

Before Paycom, I worked on projects like gEAR (Gene Expression Analysis Resource), focusing on visual design and design systems. It was all about balancing technical constraints with user needs to create products that were not just functional but enjoyable to use.

 

I started my career as a fashion designer, creating apparel, prints, and campaigns. I even designed for brands like Zara and H&M! Those years taught me the power of visual storytelling, which I’ve carried with me into UX design, blending creativity with usability.

 

At my core, I care deeply about accessibility and mentorship. My research has looked into how emotions influence decision-making and how we can design for accessibility—things I always try to keep in mind in my work.

 

When I’m not designing, I’m probably sketching, traveling, or getting lost in documentaries about history, psychology, or microbiology. Oh, and I write short stories and poetry, too—it’s a fun way to keep my creative juices flowing.
